Mr. Raine, a native of Kansas City, earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri School of Law in Columbia, Missouri in 2013. He earned a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in Political Science from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri in 2010. During law school, Mr. Raine was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, was awarded the Joe E. Covington Prize for Best Work in Legislation, JB Reynolds Student Award in Insurance Law, and earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Advanced Legal Writing, State Constitutional Law, and Trial Practice.

During law school, Mr. Raine clerked for an in-house claim litigation department of a large insurance company and for a small insurance defense firm in Columbia, Missouri. After law school, Mr. Raine began practicing with a large insurance defense firm in Kansas City before joining Manz Swanson Hall Fogarty & Gellis. Mr. Raine drafted and argued a successful Motion for Summary Judgment on a premises liability case, in addition to working on wrongful death, employment, condominium defect, business tort, premises liability, and personal injury litigation.
