1-1:50pm:  Accelerated Examination:  Three Years and Counting – Cardinal IP

This presentation will discuss the USPTO’s Accelerated Examination process. First we will cover the requirements, including the Pre-examination Search Document and the Accelerated Exam Support Document.  Then, based on our extensive experience with this process, we will discuss best practices and insights for avoiding common pitfalls. The presentation concludes with a general discussion of the advantages and potential disadvantages of using the Accelerated Examination process versus the normal filing procedure.
