James Montgomery is a Litigation Associate in the firm's Kansas City office. He focuses his practice on complex business and commercial litigation. He represents clients on a range of issues.

During law school, James served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Dispute Resolution. James also served as president of Mizzou's local chapter of Lambda Legal, and as a board member for the Board of Advocates.

Before joining Stinson Leonard Street, James served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Laura Stith of the Supreme Court of Missouri and the Honorable Matt Whitworth of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
